Programme 2019 - 2020
Here is the programme of what to expect at Bishops Wood during the year:
“Twice Upon a Time” Wednesday 27th November. 7.30 pm. Experienced story-teller, Daniel Morden and world-class musician, Oliver Wilson-Dickson are well-known for bringing high quality performances to rural audiences. TWICE UPON A TIME is a celebration of the fairytale. Everything you could hope for is there- dark forests, mysterious strangers, talking animals, goodies, baddies, glass mountains, high drama and low comedy. Something magical and unique happens when stories are told in front of an audience. We forget ourselves and our troubles and share the high and lows of the characters. At the end of the evening a group of strangers have become a community. You don’t get that from Netflix!” TWICE UPON A TIME is suitable for children over seven, but you don’t need kids to attend. There’s plenty to enjoy for grown ups too!
Donations bar will open at 7.0 pm and during interval. Tickets £11 (Under 16s and members of FOBW £9 if ordered in advance). Phone 01299 403424. Leave your phone number and a message if you get the answerphone.
